When you support Hope House as a one-time or monthly donor, you are partnering with our neighbors experiencing material poverty to create lasting change in their lives. Your generosity doesn’t just provide short-term services that need to be repeated the following day, week, month, or year; you are providing long-term solutions to help break the cycle of poverty for good. Your impact is multiplied because your gifts empower our neighbors to maintain employment, overcome addiction, provide for their families, and give back to our community to help others overcome poverty, too. Danielle’s story is a testament to the power of gospel restoration, and her story is just one of many. Will you join us to impact more people like Nikki?

Nikki’s Story

“I had lost everything. I was homeless. I stayed a lot in my car. All of my relationships were broken. My family had kind of disowned me. I had no contact with my children. My life was really dark. I was in and out of jobs, and I didn’t have any hope. There were a lot of struggles, but I think a lot of them stemmed from my addiction.

When I got to Hope House, I got to meet the other women. They were very welcoming and sincere and genuine, and I found a home in Hope House. Hope House gave me a safe place to heal. Not only was it a place to be sober, but to really find myself. Now I have everything that I’ve always wanted. I have a home. I have my family. I have a good job that I love. Life has just changed dramatically.

If it wasn’t for the affordable housing through Hope House, I would be on the streets I’m sure. Even wanting to be sober, without the foundation that Hope House has given me, I don’t believe I would have maintained that. Hope House changed everything. I have a stronger faith in Jesus, and my community and support system have grown. Now I get to see my two sons weekly, and I’m with my daughter daily.

You should give because it will change lives. It will give people a chance and an opportunity to be people that they were born to be–that God made them to be.”
